Storyline

At Washington High, there are the popular kids and the geeks, the stoners and the brains, the athletes and the artists and then there are The Others. They don't look like the rest of the kids, they don't dress the same, they don't listen to the same music. The only thing on their minds is how many laws they can break, how many people they can annoy, and when they can break into school on grad night to invent the ultimate senior prank. Bought it just to see...not bad.

Those of you who remember The Young Riders will be quite excited by this Travis Fine film, especially if you get the DVD which contains an introduction by him as well as a full length commentary track. (OK, I admit that's why I bought it.) Low-budget or not, it's like watching another great 80's teen movie, which was the general idea in the first place. Plot themes: Would-be rock star in band has serious crush on most popular girl in school and is shy about making a move. Changes also take place when an eccentric artist is pursued by a seemingly normal guy with artistic tastes very similar to hers. And then there are also the guys who just have no clue what they want to do.

Go ahead! Watch it! Don't judge it by it's exterior artwork. It's much better than that!
