This was a sort of propaganda film of conditions in WW1 in 1915-16.
It was filmed and edited by Donald Thompson.
The film crew faced heavy fire during filming.
There is a WIki page that discusses the film.
It was shot with fixed cameras. No shots on rails.
The film is silent with a few titles here and there. Better titling of what was happening in the film would be nice, but might be difficult to do. Maybe AI can identify who the officers were and many of the enlisted men at some point.
It's great that this footage has been kept in such great shape for over 100 years.
I enjoyed viewing it.
