When a company elevator breaks down, receptionist Renee Dorsett's body drops on startled colleague Jeffrey Lipton. Dorsett made numerous enemies, mainly by ratting on colleagues, but also in her private life. She was also poisoned with arsenic in cumulatively lethal amounts. A young colleague who lives in the ceiling above her had obvious opportunity. Further investigations turns out older death threat and another side to her personality. Written by KGF Vissers
A dead and very bloody secretary is found on top of an elevator with an ax in her head.
The suspects in here are bizarre, to say the least. Every one of them is whacked, from a guy who lives in the ceiling to someone who takes his classic car and commits vandalism on the victim's lawn to a vengeful female who poisons the victim and sees nothing wrong with that....to others. It's one crazy person after another! Even the victim - as we discover - is (was) a little nuts.
Thus, it's kind of stupid episode when you put all these things in here, but at least it was entertaining. You never knew what strange thing was going to develop next. Despite the gory murder, the episode with a comedy bit....so the writers were certainly aware this was not an episode to be taken too seriously!
