All of the houses and vehicles they used in this movie were those of the artists. Most notably the white house, which in the movie belonged to DMX's character Buns, was actually one of DMX's homes in Florida.

"The Minister" seen in the last scenes of the film is portrayed by Dr. Benjamin Chavis who was the Executive Director of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) from 1993 - 1994. Dr. Chavis was the youngest person ever to serve as the Executive Director of the NAACP.
