      The first Kamen Rider series created by Shotaro Ishinomori alone. Franchise co-creator/former producer Tôru Hirayama was involved early in production (and was in a conference with Toei Studios executives and a group of fans, to discuss ideas for a new Kamen Rider movie, which instead resulted in this series), but was ultimately uncredited. This may also explain the lack of Gorgom having henchmen (which were a staple of Hirayama's in all past entries). Instead, in a few cases, Black fights multiple clones of one monster, as was the case in the first episode.

    Simply the Best, and the DVD sets Just Came Out, GO GET THEM!!!
    I was only 8 years old when 'Kamen Rider Black' first came out, and I've been a huge fan ever since. I just bought the DVD sets a few weeks back, and man, they are good, even after all these years. Just about everything in the 'Kamen Rider Black' are great, it's a classic to me. All Kamen Rider Black fans should get the dvd sets right away. I also bought the Kamen Rider Black RX series, and I have to say that I don't like it as much as the original, it's just not as good.
