Trivia | Masked Rider Amazon, also called simply "Amazon Rider," is the first Masked Rider in name only (he's an unmasked mutant instead of a masked cyborg), as well as the first Masked Rider based on a species other than an insect; he's based on reptiles, as well as a piranha (with the ability of biting, and the fins on the back). He is also the first Kamen Rider altered by a magical ritual and the first for which his belt is not his henshin device (it holds a rope). His henshin (transformation) device is his armband.
