Plot Summary

David, a double bass player, learns in the lobby of the hospital that his mother has cancer and only has two months to live. Annihilated by the news, he decides not to tell her the truth and to act as if nothing was the matter. Back home he takes care of her, with the silent help of his wife. Unaware of the gravity of her condition, David's mother sifts through her memories and eagerly waits until she is better. One day, David, who has had enough of lying to her, confesses that she is condemned by cancer. From now on, they will be as one to fight the illness. Written by Guy Bellinger
