Storyline

The hungry Pink Panther wanders the streets, and while longing for a bite to eat, a little dog bites his tail and refuses to let go, so he has to check into a hospital, where the doctor treats him as just another ill patient. Unhappy to be in the hospital, the panther tries to escape by disguising himself as a nurse and the dog as a baby under a blanket - but the plan fails. Finally the doctor gives him some Formula K-9 Dog Remover medicine, which helps, and the dog lets loose of the tail. Written by jan-wiberg <JanWibergE@netscape.net>

That dumb dog!
14 August 2016 | by OllieSuave-007See all my reviews

I could say that most dogs featured on Pink Panther cartoons are annoying as heck, and this one is no exception. After seeing the Pink Panther starving and hearing his stomach growling, a small dog got alarmed and bit on the panther's tail and wouldn't let go, forcing the cat to go to the hospital, run by a team of inept doctors.

I wished that the panther would have just flung or smack that dumb dog off his tail. It seems that the later Pink Panther cartoon features the character as somewhat more bad-luck pronged, clueless and less crafty and clever. It's too bad that the panther let's things get in his way more, making his later cartoons less entertaining and funny.

Grade D--
