Goofs

The big settlement that Tom got from the drunk driver wouldn't have played out the way it did in the movie. This is because it actually would have been Tom's fault because he backed out in front of the drunk driver just before the collision. In addition, Tom is shown heavily drinking just before the incident, making it likely that he had a high blood alcohol level as well. See more »

Quotes

Peter Gibbons: Boy, I'll tell ya, some days... One of these days it's just gonna be like...
[He mimics the sound of a machine gun. Brian, a waiter, walks up and does the same and laughs]
Brian, Chotchkie's Waiter: So can I get you gentlemen something more to drink? Or maybe something to nibble on? Some Pizza Shooters, Shrimp Poppers, or Extreme Fajitas?
Peter Gibbons: Just coffee.
Brian, Chotchkie's Waiter: Okay. Sounds like a case of the Mondays.

User Reviews

A truly exceptional comedy
21 July 2018 | by perica-43151See all my reviews

This movie is original, perfectly captures frustrations and it does not take itself too seriously. It well deserves the cult following it gets. Perhaps not innovative in its cinematography but it has brilliant storytelling and wit. A classic
