Full disclosure 'Celebrity Centerfold: Jessica Hahn' is the fourth title I've watched from this series and I was too quick to prejudge. Whatever I might feel about celebrity culture, fame is irrelevant if the final product is hot, erotic and does it's job giving bountiful nudity. This Playboy vid starts off slowly, but picks up steam as it goes along.
As an intro, we lay eyes on Jessica as she explores an old church with a scripted voiceover from her. Then a glass of wine shatters in slow-mo and the music gets dramatic in a cheesy way. You get quick shots of her boobs via a black see thru top she's wearing, but that's the extend of titillation. I thought it was a real bad omen. An interview coming from the heart follows next touching on her life story, but you're gonna need to get past the moment where she talks of being raped if you're gonna enjoy the rest of the title. A odd moment that sticks out like a sore thumb (5 mins).
"Demons of the Past" sees the voiceover, religious component continue as she arrives at a mystical castle. Riding a horse, vintage costume, smoke machine put to use. Everything looks great, but the quick shots of her nude doesn't cut it (5.5 mins). "Anticipation" a boy/girl scene is where I'll stop and give credit where credit is due. The nudity comes quickly & there's some nice shots - many in closeup - of Jessica. A few with the dude, but mostly solo and of her whole body (3.5 mins).
"Fun in the Sun" has a brief interview (30 secs) before she's seen in public. In the mix is summer dresses, denim in a barn, but in & out of a bikini, nude at the beach is tops (2 mins). "Alone in Love" has her in a bedroom where she quickly gets out of a top, panties and many lovely shots, angles follow (3 mins). "Pictorial" she says a few brief words as they're shown (1.5 mins). "No Inhibitions" rotates thru a few colored wigs, pieces of lingerie on a white set in a fast piece number that has shots of the topless variety (3 mins). "Good and Evil" keeps with the biblical, spiritual themes as she comes upon a snake in an apple tree. On a bed the snake slithers over her nude body and such. She looks good, seems comfortable, but I'll be honest and say the idea didn't work for me (3 mins).
"Room to Room" has another chat (40 secs) on the topic of finding love that leads to her roaming a hotel. She comes across a couple practicing lite S&M and enters first watching topless before joining in. Shots of the other lady nude are intercut with Jessica & the man together (6 mins). "Carousel Ride" has her reminisce about an old love as shots of her on and off the merry go-round (many nude) are shown (5.5 mins). Now "bonus" Playmate - Echo Johnson - wraps it up. Thru "Playmate Profile", "Never Predictable", "Pictorial" & "A Sante Fe Legend" you get varied looks at this all natural beauty. Though I thought the opening was the strongest material (17.5 mins total).
At the center of a juicy 80's scandal, she parlayed that into minor fame. Took it off within the pages of Playboy and did this 'Celebrity Centerfold' video. Her celebrity status might be questionable, but the part that matters is Jessica looks great here sans clothes in many scenes. Echo doesn't boost the title in a huge way, but supplies decent visuals too.
