Veteran actor Ugo Tognazzi gives a spunky performance as a soccer team manager booted out right before the Italian playoffs. This funny and engaging film is more a character study than a sports film. It is, in fact, a terrific little drama made by one of Italy' most respected contemporary directors who specializes in nostalgic fantasies such as "Noi tre", "Aiutami a sognare" and the rather popular "Story of Boys and Girls".
