The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Violence & Gore

  • Roger gets shot point blank with a shotgun. Large bullet holes form in his chest, we hear him struggle to breathe and we watch him slowly die. Bloody and disturbing. Alonzo shoots another officer to make it look like he was shot while trying to get in the house. He also says that Jake was the one who killed Roger to cover up the fact that they committed murder and armed robbery.
  • The main theme of the movie is that a basic beat cop is training to be an uncover/narc agent so he can get promoted quicker and learn the other side of the police department. What he does not realize is that the entire team including the boss take it way over the line blurring the lines of morality (using/selling drugs, embezzling and even killing for pleasure) and using the badge as an excuse to be evil almost.
  • A man is graphically shot to death by the Russian mafia. We see him get out of his car covered in blood and struggling to stay alive. He is then shot up a thousand times more, blood rapidly spurts out of his body we see his bloody corpse laced with bullet holes for a long period of time.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • A man is killed execution style at the end of the movie.
