Eddie's best film according to Eddie

I see that nobody has commented on this film and that is probably because (almost) nobody has seen it. Eddie Constantine saw it however and in a German biography I read about him, he quotes this film to be maybe the best film he ever did. This is remarkable. Nobody in film history has probably been treated with less respect (undeservingly) than Eddie Constantine. That his best film is totally unknown is therefore not surprising. It would however be nice if somebody with money dug it up and looked at it and let us others (with no money) see it. After all, Eddie was the coolest of detectives, wasn't he? Well, after Tom Adams of course, but who has ever heard anything from him?
