Oscar Micheaux and D.W. Griffith
27 October 2003 | by Single-Black-MaleSee all my reviews

A theme that seems to run through a lot of Micheaux's films is condemning corrupt clergymen. Was he trying to say something to the Christian church? Did he have unhelpful experiences in the church? This Leit Motif is similar to interracial romance that Micheaux covers in his other films.
