Spiros Tsardis, a poor dental student who works as an employee at a coffee shop, has a great and lucrative idea that would make both him and the backyard's laundress--the humble Mrs Kalliopi--rich. To finally get married to his long-term sweetheart, Keti, the ingenious breadwinner makes a deal with Mrs Kalliopi: she is to tell the fortune to the multitudes of affluent Athenian ladies who yearn to know the future, while Spiros, makes sure he provides their business with fresh clientele. However, a priceless and long-lost family ring will soon unearth a weighty secret--one that demands immediate attention. Is Spiros meant to be a happy groom in the near future?
