Plot Summary

In the shadow of Mount Chelmos, at a peaceful village near the River Styx, charming Golfo and her secret beau, the handsome shepherd, Tasos, swear eternal devotion. True to her word, Golfo rejects the romantic advances of the wealthy chief-shepherd, Kitsos, who yearns to have her as his wife, unaware that Stavroula, the spiteful daughter of the area's powerful landlord, Zisis, has set her sights on winning Tasos' heart at all costs. Before long, she sets in motion a sinister plan to separate the two young lovers, and much to Golfo's dismay, Tasos breaks his oath. Now, desperate Golfo contemplates death, and only Tasos can save her. Will he see the error of his ways and live with Golfo, his one true love? Written by Nick Riganas
