Sex & Nudity

  • A character is said to be a virgin. We hear a joke about a man having a sex change to become a lesbian. References are made to sexual spanking, and to sexually compromising photos.
  • A teacher describes Napoleon and Josephine as a gang-banging a$$hole and a slut-bag whore leaving her panties all over town.
  • A drunk and blindfolded man starts kissing another man. (He thinks he's kissing his girlfriend).
  • A man and a woman lie in bed together. They don't have sex, but they are positioned in a sexually suggestive manner (his head is resting against her breasts). He is fully clothed while her top is open to reveal her bra and cleavage.
  • Two teenagers start kissing passionately, and they remove their clothes, but no nudity is shown, only cleavage and his chest for a second or so. They wake up together the next day, nude, but a blanket covers any nudity. That they had sex is confirmed by dialog later.

Violence & Gore

  • There is some violence in the film, but it's not intense or graphic.
  • A woman slaps a man in the face twice.
  • A woman hits her head against a wall and passes out. She remains unconscious for a while. We see a small amount of blood on her head where she was grazed by a projectile.
  • A woman starts attacking a girl, but this action is mild and is immediately stopped by a third person who stands up for the girl.
  • A woman attacks a man (we don't actually see it because it happens behind a closed door, but it's clear to viewers that this is what happens)
  • A woman and a teenage girl fight. The woman chokes the girl, and the girl ends up with a bloody nose.
  • Crossbows are used to threaten people several times. One character is nearly hit by accident. A couple of actual attacks occur. One character is grazed by a bolt. Another appears to be hit and unconscious.

Profanity

  • As presented on VUDU in Sep. 2019, the captioning has been partly cleaned up relative to the audible dialog: "F*ck you" becomes "forget you", "kissing ass" becomes "brown-nosing", 2 out of 3 occurrences of "bitch" become "witch", "Holy shit" becomes "Oh, my god", 1 out of 3 occurrences of "shit" becomes "oops", and "asshole" becomes "weasel". Single instances of "hell", "dammit", "oh, god", and "bullshit" are captioned as spoken.
  • Profanity is recurring but not pervasive, only occasionally in a hostile or threatening way.
  • Just about every swear word is used (asshole, bitch, damn, skank, etc.)

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A woman is shown with a cigarette in her hand, but we never see her actually smoke it.
  • Some of the characters drink beer and wine, including one high-school student. The drinking is usually casual, but one of the characters is plied with alcohol until he passes out drunk.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Two of the main characters end up fighting each other towards the end of the movie. A little blood is visible. One character falls down stairs and is unconscious for a while. On two occasions is appears that a crossbow bolt may have killed characters.
