a fairy tale. in skin of S.F. nice, touching and childish. and good cast in a story who preserves original flavor of Ion Creangă writing and, in same time, propose new version of it. king, palace, the old people without children and an E. T. in final, glorious victory of love. after years, it is a good memory of passed ages. and interesting for technical solutions, for charm of Diana Lupescu and for old man and his wife. the presence of Carmen Stănescu does a perfect circle - slice of childhood. sure, the music has its importance. but, more important, the naivety of entire story is the star. ironic, funny, it is meeting with a form of magic. and this is great point.
