Storyline

An intersexual boy has collapsed on the basketball court. His parents have never told him he has both male and female cells and they (that is, the overprotective mother, who seems to be wearing the trousers) don't want the team to tell him either. For Thirteen, withholding the truth from the kid is easier said than done. To everybody's surprise, House acts kind and actually seems to be... happy, which makes everyone think something fishy is going on. Written by Marco van Hoof <k_luifje7@hotmail.com>

Trivia

Taub: If by professional you mean he's a T-1000 built by Cyberdyne Systems. Referencing the liquid-metal cyborg played by Robert Patrick in Terminator 2: Judgment Day (1991). Despite Taub's description here, the AI programming of the T-1000 allows it to at least mimic human emotions even if it doesn't actually feel them. A T-1001 liquid-metal cyborg has been introduced on Fox's Terminator: The Sarah Connor Chronicles the same season this episode premiered. See more »

Quotes

Dr. Lisa Cuddy: Did you give House the moron with the broken finger?
Nurse Helen: They've been in Room 2 about ten minutes.
Dr. Lisa Cuddy: Patient should've been screaming for another doctor seven minutes ago.
Ian: [walks into the hallway, wearing a finger splint] Thanks, bro.

For 40 minutes of the episode house and the team of also ran jerks try to diagnose some innocuous illness as house acts like he's on heroin but its really cocaine ... someone should ease his pain by lethal injection because we are all tired of his sorry self indulgent antics
