"Hadewijch" is a shallow, dull, boring, messy and overrated French movie and I was completely disappointed after watching it. Shallow and dull since there is no explanation why the Catholic Céline is capable of a terrorist act in her quest for God. Boring since the low pace seems to be used due to the lack of story or substance. Messy since the situations are confused with the used of ellipsis and flashbacks in the screenplay. Overrated since the director Bruno Dumont may have friends and followers that have given unfair high ratings for "Hadewijch". And I was lured by the IMDb User Rating. My vote is three.
