This is a tremendous eighties crime TV stuff. And plus, direted by a comedy specialist: Joel Seria. Though it remains in the pure eighties atmosphere, directing, score, acting, the result is truly brutal, gritty, convincing and Jean Pierre Castaldi shows his most powerful performance as a gangster, in the pure Michel Constantin's style. Castaldi should have made more films like this as a villain, tough guy, he had the face, the charisma for it. The story takes place in Paris, a complex plot of drug traffic, cheap garment jungle of the Sentier district. Cheap garment where Turkish are involved. Not Haute Couture.... Not a masterpiece, but certainly a must see from frenc TV industry of this time.
