On Nov. 1, she will stick them and her hands in cement at the Chinese Theatre forecourt, joining an exalted group of notables with her latest star turn.

Even with a long list of accolades behind her and a number of upcoming projects ahead of her, being immortalized alongside legends such as Marilyn Monroe, one of her own idols, is not an event Carey takes lightly. “I have this picture of Marilyn Monroe and Jane Russell when they were doing their imprint ceremony. At the beginning of the episode, Corinne (this season’s Olivia) is “so excited.” First-impression winner Rachel only slept for “like two hours.” Chris Harrison asks the women what they thought of the first day. Nick is “not what they expected at all!” Is that… a good thing? Their tone of voice would indicate yes, but to be determined.

First, Nick asks a gaggle of gals out for a wedding-themed group date. They do. Vanessa

Jimmy Kimmel Interview: The Emmy Host on Pickle-gate, ‘Stranger Things’ and His Future at ABC
Nearly 14 years after the launch of his late night talk show, a slim and trim Jimmy Kimmel is in the best physical shape of his life. Nonetheless, the “Jimmy Kimmel Live” host admits that these days, he feels a bit more like an “old, grizzled veteran.”

The hosts that Kimmel competed against for more than a decade are now mostly retired. Kimmel is even executive producing the ABC game show “Big Fan,” hosted by competitor Conan O’Brien’s sidekick, Andy Richter.)

Of course, Kimmel has felt a bit like that “old, grizzled veteran” since the moment his show launched in 2003. “It was nothing like I expected it would be,” he recently reflected in his Hollywood office, after

Ranked: How superhero stars fared after giving up the cape
Donning the cape and tights to play a big screen superhero was often seen as career suicide for actors. This idea is mined to brilliant effect in Alejandro González Iñárritu's Birdman, with a former comic book star looking to relaunch his career with an ambitious Broadway play.

Adding extra spice to Birdman is the casting of Michael Keaton, himself a former Batman whose post-tights career has been somewhat hit and miss. This film, however, is a stunning reminder of just how good an actor Keaton is and proof that careers don't end when on-screen superpowers fade away.

Digital Spy takes a look at 20 ex-superhero stars to see how they fared after leaving an iconic comic book role behind.
