Sex & Nudity

  • A nude male butt is visible as lead characters search him, and find a rolled up map held between his buttocks.
  • There is a lot of sexual dialogue nothing extreme or graphic, it's just constant.
  • There is one quite graphic sex scene early in the film. While there isn't any nudity, the woman dressed in panties with an open shirt revealing her bra is on top of the man in a chair. There is steady movement, heavy breathing and later references in the movie dialogue to this scene.

Violence & Gore

  • A man is shot at long range, we later see him shot in the throat, (some blood).
  • The effects of a gunshot are seen from within the body. The bullet travels through organs and spills green bile over the organs. Very graphic and disgusting.
  • A cow explodes, blood and gore flies everywhere.
  • Two men are shot (some blood).
  • A man is kicked off of the back of a jeep.
  • Birds are seen dying, covered in oil.
  • A man is pistol-whipped.
  • A man is seen tied up on a fence used as a conductor for electric torture.
  • A man is punched.

  • A man is hit with the butt of a rifle.
  • A mother is shot in the head, point blank (blood spurts) in front of her husband and young daughter the daughter runs to the body but is pulled away by the hair. This is a disturbing scene.

  • There is a small shootout in which men are killed (small amount of blood).
  • A man is shot by a sniper (no blood).
  • A young boy is killed by a tank shell.

  • A small skirmish takes place we see no violence only gunfire.
  • A man is tortured he is hit and electrocuted.
  • A baby is seen in his crib when concrete is dropped on it. Disturbing scene.
  • A mother and baby are standing in a house when a explosion goes off behind them, they are engulfed in flame and debris, non graphic but disturbing.
  • A man has is CD case forced into his mouth and oil poured down his throat.

  • Civillians are killed by a helicopter chaingun (no blood).

  • A man has an air valve pushed into his lung to keep him alive. We see the inside of his lungs, including a couple closeups of the hole in his organ. Graphic and very gross.

Profanity

  • 57 "f" words (4 used with "mother"), 30 "s" words (1 in subtitles), 2 slang terms ("d*ck" and "pr*ck"), 13 asses, 6 hells, 1 S.O.B., and 6 uses of "Goddamn," 3 of "Oh my God (1 in subtitles)," 2 each of "Jesus Christ" and "Oh God" and 1 use each of "For Christ's sakes" and "Christ" as exclamations.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • There is a party in celebration of the end of the war. Obviously, alcohol is included.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • There is a short scene where concrete drops on a baby and kills him. This is a very quick scene but it could prove to be disturbing to many viewers.
  • Many scenes of threats towards Iraq people.
