Nothing too frightening or scary, all the violence is played for laughs.
The movie is a fuzzy one due to different characters and a healthier sibling rivalry. The main character's family is loving and respectful, and his mother scolds him because she believes he's making it up, a welcome change from the McCallister abuse Kevin in the first two movies..
Some younger children may get a bit nervous from the bad guys' actions, particularly during the brief moments where a kid acts surprised or nervous.
The traps may be intense for some viewers.
Some younger viewers could find the entire premise, which involves elite terrorists trying to get into a house in order to get a chip from a remote control car that will activate a missile, frightening.
There is a scene where a kid in his house hides in a closet just as the villains rush up the stairs and spot him. One of them attempts to open the closet door while the child hides somewhere before it swings open.
There is an intense chase between 4 criminals and a remote control car with a microchip.
Several intense scenes throughout the film like the airport scene.
The bad guys may be frightening to some viewers since they are more professional compared to the villains in the other two movies.
A kid, watching a video feed from a camera mounted atop a remote control car, is suddenly surprised when the bad guy's face shows up full screen.
