The last scene takes place at the "Ballermann 6" where the director wanted to portray drunk German tourists. Since it proved to be impossible to get the extras to play drunk convincingly, the producers used real alcohol to get convincing reactions. Tom Gerhardt says that he took care of providing the extras with enough alcohol himself. See more »
It's not Das Boot, it's not Der Untergang, but that's not what we're looking for here. A simply great mindless romp through all what's funny with German (and not only German) tourists everywhere. Clichés abound, come with an open mind and you're sure to enjoy this. "Wir sind doch immer noch in Deutschland." Priceless.
