Some great scenes, but slow in the middle
19 June 2000 | by Keltic-2See all my reviews

_9 Millimeter_ presents something of a contradiction. Visually, it's good, with some great shots and sequences. Several scenes are better than good, among them a largely black-and-white bank heist scene. However, it also has a "too long" feel and the plot drags for an unpleasantly large portion of the film. This is a pity, because it starts off well; however, the conclusion lacks real closure and leaves the viewer hanging
