Storyline

The basic plot of this show was that Weird Al was coming to you from a split-level cave twenty miles below the surface of the earth, along with his pet, Harvey The Wonder Hamster. Each show would have a rather loose plot around which strange and weird things would happen. Written by Jonathan D. H. Parshall <parshall@citcom.net>

Trivia

The show's theme song contains the lyrics, "Well, the very next year he met a dental hygienist with a spatula tattooed on her arm." This is a double reference to UHF (1989) where Al's girlfriend was a dental hygienist played, and in which a "Spatula City" skit/ad also appears. See more »

The Weird Al Show is weird thats for sure but in a good way.

Weird Al Yankovics TV show is a good comedy that if you can get your hands on a copy you should definitely watch as it has lots of scenes that had me in stitches(for example The "Grass is green" segment is so funny.)The show is about the daily life of Al and he has many adventures where at the end he learns a responsibility. The funniest bits in the show are bits from T.V or mini movies he puts on. The show has bits where it is just stupid but most of it is very funny and really quite entertaining. Overall I rate this movie pretty high even though it is not the best nor funniest show in the world it is good for quite a few chuckles so I rate it a pretty solid 73% and I hope they make more episodes one day.
