The members of the NYPD Intelligence Division live double lives as they work undercover most of the time, trying to catch the most dangerous criminals in the city. They share their time between home, criminal underworlds, and their secret headquarter on Prince Street. Written by Steve Richer <sricher@sympatico.ca>
I remember about three years ago on NBC when "Prince Street" had a premiere I said that this show will be a hit I was wrong after a few episodes it was taken off. This show was true to show how that cops in the big cities risk their all on a nightly basis as each member was of the NYPD Intelligence Division who had to live a secret life and fight the dangers every night. I remember in the first episode a scene where Mariska Hargitay was held hostage for a short time with her hands crossed with tape and she also had her mouth taped with a piece of duct tape. Mariska would later go on to star and have success on NBC's "Law & Order: Special Victim's Unit". Really it's sad when the networks pull the plug on a TV-series quickly without giving them a chance I must say though that it wasn't for the lack of realism on "Prince Street" to bad this series didn't stick around.
