2018 Daytime Emmy reels: Michael Easton (‘Gh’) suffers through withdrawal and loses the woman he loves [Watch]
Michael Easton is nominated for his first Daytime Emmy for playing Dr. Hamilton Finn on “General Hospital.” He introduced the character in 2016, but it’s actually the fourth character he has played on the show in six years. He previously starred on “One Life to Live” as John McBain and brought that character over to “Gh” upon “Oltl’s” cancellation. Then he played Stephen Clay (the “Port Charles” character he played from 2001-2003) and his twin brother Silas Clay. And finally Finn was created a few months after Silas was killed off. So it was a long and winding road to get Easton to the Emmys in 2018. The winners will be announced on April 29, but they’ve already been decided in the drama acting categories by blue ribbon panels that viewed sample performance reels. Watch Easton’s submission above.

Daytime Emmys 2018: Will Michael Easton (‘Gh’) finally earn his 1st nomination 17 years after his vampiric breakthrough?
Michael Easton is a Daytime Emmys pre-nominee for Best Actor for his role as Hamilton Finn on the ABC soap “General Hospital.” It’s a relatively new role, introduced in March 2016, but Easton has been a daytime staple for almost two decades. Despite his long soap-opera resume, however, he has yet to be nominated for an Emmy. Will this be his year?

Easton’s first soap opera credit was “Days of Our Lives,” where he played Tanner Scofield from 1990-1992. But he made his biggest impact in 2001 when he joined the cast of “Port Charles.” A spin-off of “Gh,” that series was taking a supernatural turn in the early 2000s, so naturally Easton’s character Caleb Morley turned out to be a vampire. But “PC” was cancelled in 2003, so Easton immediately jumped ship to fellow ABC soap opera “One Life to Live” where he played Detective John McBain for almost a decade,

General Hospital Spoilers: Will the Real Jason Please Stand Up?

General Hospital fans will find out this week who the real Jason is, and we strongly suggest it is Patient Six. We have a very big feeling that Andrew Cain is actually the current Jason who showed up in Port Charles with a new face and a long story about Cassadine Island a few years back. We cannot, of course, confirm this, but we do believe this is the truth. And we also think there is a very good chance that he had a rough childhood and life before he was Jason. He might not have a clue he’s not

General Hospital Spoilers: Still Confused About Jason and Drew?

General Hospital fans just don’t know who is Jason and who is Andrew. Right now we all want to believe that Six is Jason and Jason is Andrew, but the clues just keep us from believing anything solid at the moment. Andre made a comment that Six returned to Port Charles because he wants to be with the people he believes are his family, and that makes us believe that Andre is insinuating that he merely believes this but that it is not the truth. And that’s something to think about. Then again, we also think that the paperwork Franco

General Hospital Spoilers: Could Nelle be Killed Off?

General Hospital fans know Nelle is anything but the most popular woman in Port Charles, but there is so much people don’t know about her. The only thing people are sure of at this point is that she’s a liar, and even then she’s not all that good at lying. She’s got too much going on in her mind to keep things straight, and she can’t help but lie when she feels it’s good for her to do it to win rather than to keep a lid on the things she’s been working so hard to hide. She’s not quite

It’s time for everyone to think about how they want to handle their lives, and they need the next four days to do that. The people of Port Charles will be back in a few days, fresh and new on Monday. General Hospital fans know that Nelle is not someone to ignore. She’s been dumped by Michael, but she’s not done with her life in Port Charles just yet. She’s not happy with the way things are going for herself right now, and she’s not going to stop until she makes everyone pay. And there is something about her that makes us think she will really take

It turns out he is going to end up with a very long connection to people who know him but don’t know Jason and shouldn’t know him with that face. It’s going to be very interesting to see how he manages to get through this and if he really is the twin of his brother. He might even find that some people know him, but they don’t
