This show was hailed as a great show when it first came out. I watched the first episode and wondered what the hell the person who said that had been watching. This show is so incredibly unbelievable and totally contrived. Teachers having affairs with students, best friends becoming more than that and then returning to that state, each episode dealing with an issue with an extraordinarily heavy hand. This show has none of the humor of "Buffy the Vampire Slayer", none of the earnestness of "That 70's Show" and none of the realness of "Gilmore Girls." I'd personally use this show as a cure for insomnia.
