A woman carrying out a project about the sexuality of men and women is forced to confront a secret from her childhood.
When Maura, a daring and beautiful PhD candidate, uncovers not only their most intimate secrets but also her own in this sizzling, psychological thriller that pulsates with relentless eroticism. During one of the interviews for her thesis project, she suggests to a woman - who is struggling to tell her personal and painful story - that she disrobe. What she discovers is that when the clothes come off, the walls come down and her subject exposes her darkest secrets. She uses her daring, unconventional therapy on others with similar - and more tantalizing - results. And before long, her own deepest inhibitions are aroused in an exciting and dangerous way. Unable to control her awakening, she explores her most savage desires, which not only strains her relationship with her boyfriend Mark, but also causes a blurring of all boundaries, crossing both a professional and personal line that transforms her life in a way she never imaged.
