Producer Wong Jing cast Shu Qi from Taiwan after he saw a nude pictorial she posed for in a tabloid. He knew right away she had what he needed for this film.

Alternate versions
The original UK video featured the subtitled print and was heavily cut by 3 mins 19 secs with edits to rape and sexual violence. The same cuts were made to the dubbed print though expanded by a further 3 secs.

Chinese Mix

Sex and Zen II is a bewildering mix of comedy and horror which works very well.

Some of the scenes can be classified as soft-core porn with several actresses shedding their clothes at decent intervals.

The main dude has a voracious sexual appetite and spreads his seed with numerous concubines. He also has a beautiful daughter who he provides a chastity suit of armour to preserve her virginity.

A myserious woman enters the picture and is wed to the main dude's slow witted son. The boy is clueless and so dear old dad takes care of business with the not so blushing bride. The actress, Shu Qi is quite stunning, both with and without clothes.

The film has some colorful sets and I was highly entertained.
