Storyline

Capulet becomes Cappell, and Montague becomes Monroe in yet another modernized adaptation of Shakespeare's classic "Romeo & Juliet." This time, the adult family members are feuding by way of a mayoral election, while Ronnie & Julie are the ice-skating lovers (he in hockey, and she as a figure skater.) Hopelessly Romantic
3 June 2000 | by See all my reviews

This was amazing. Like another comment has said, other movies use comedy. But this movie isn't based on comedy, but romance and drama, I think that that is what makes it unique. A brilliant movie, and I guarantee that if you watch it you won't be disappointed. I give it 11 out of 10.
