    Storyline

    Edit
Matilda Wormwood is an exquisite and intelligent little girl. Unfortunately, her parents misunderstand her because they think she is so different. As time passes, Matilda finally starts school and has a kind teacher, loyal friends, and a sadistic principal. As she gets fed up with the constant cruelty, Matilda begins to realize that she has a gift of telekinetic powers. After some days of practice, Matilda suddenly turns the tables to stand up to her parents and outwit the principal. —Blazer346

    I can't help it!
The title of my comment says it all, I can't help it! I have adored Rhaold Dhal's books since I was 6!!! So, if I watch a movie based on his book, it's absolutely normal that the book is in my mind.

A movie based on a book of Rhaold Dhal can be fun. I enjoyed: the Witches, the recent Charlie and the Chcolate Factory and even the TV-movie, Danny the Champion of the world, just to name a few. But these are all books that I read later, when I was 7, 8 or 9. My first book of him was Mathilda.

I can honestly that there is no other book that I have read, adored , and loved as much as Mathilda. So when I watch a movie based on something so dear to me, and imagined by somebody else, then my mind just doesn't accept it.

It's like I said, I can't help it! Actually, this movie isn't bad, I even liked it! But the thought of Mathilda as a movie, makes me want to tear out my hair. That's also why I simply refuse to rate this movie, I just wouldn't be fair.

But just in a little note: Agatha trunchbull was perfectly done in this movie!
