‘Top Boy’ Star Ashley Walters Stopped At Airport En Route To Mip TV After Having Bullet Keyring
Top Boy star Ashley Walters is coming to Cannes to promote his latest drama Bulletproof, but faced some trouble on his way after being stopped for having a key chain with a bullet.

The actor and musician, who was part of British group So Solid Crew, is heading to Mip TV to promote the drama, which is produced by Vertigo Films, including an interview with Deadline. But the controversial star had a slightly longer journey than first expected.

He was held up at Heathrow Airport en route after security found a promotional keychain that he had after wrapping production of the six-part Lethal Weapon-esque drama.

“I was two hours early and now I may miss my flight,” he tweeted. “It was a harmless bullet key ring given to me by my colleagues when we wrapped on our new show.”

Walters is starring in the series alongside Kidulthood creator Noel Clarke,

Some Teen Mom Og fans figured out that mother-of-three Maci Bookout also works as a voiceover artist — and she sounds amazing in this Green Dot 5 percent cash back Visa debit card commercial. Check it out in the video below! It definitely sounds like Maci is branching out in her career. Recently, we found out the red-haired beauty will put her survival skills to the test on an upcoming episode of Discovery's Naked and Afraid. "Maci spent a great deal of time training for the show before she left," a source previously told The Ashley's Reality Roundup. "She got to bring a few extra 'personal' items than the typical contestant on the show, but other than that, she didn’t get a lot of special treatment." Back in June, Maci released her memoir I Wasn't Born Bulletproof: Lessons I Learned (So You Don't Have To) and published her first tell-all,

Rotterdam ‘17: World premiere of Ernest Dickerson’s ‘Double Play’
Ernest Dickerson is a client of manager Jennifer Levine who told me about this film in Sundance!

International Film Festival Rotterdam (Iffr) presented the world premiere of “Double Play” with the King of Netherlands attending along with the cast and crew. American filmmaker Ernest Dickerson (“Juice”, “The Wire”) directed the film version of the internationally lauded novel Double Play by Curaçaoan author Frank Martinus Arion. The film features a host of Caribbean, American and European actors including Brit Lennie James, the Tony Award nominated Saycon Sengbloh and Oscar winner Louis Gossett Jr.

An ostensibly simple game of dominoes unfurls a portrait of Antillean society in Double Play. In 1973, Frank Martinus Arion (1936–2015) provided a unique insight into culture and society on Curaçao during the tumultuous transition from Dutch colonial rule to autonomy in his successful novel Double Play. The film adds a contemporary perspective. The audience sees what lay behind the

Spotlight on the Stars: Adam Sandler

For this week’s spotlight piece, I wanted to sort of go back to the start of the series and take a look at someone who doesn’t get the respect that they deserve from the masses. Today, that person is Adam Sandler, one of the kings of comedy who also has a flair for drama when he decides to go that route. He’s a huge titan of studio comedy, for sure, but he’s got a load of talent for when he chooses to get serious. The laughs have shot him to the A-list, but when he’s gone for depth and emotion, he’s shown that he’s got some acting chops as well. He’s rather underrated overall, so a spotlight today is definitely in the cards for him. Sandler got his start towards the A-list through television when he was cast on Saturday Night Live

A Quantitative Ranking of Adam Sandler’s Movie BFFs

A Quantitative Ranking of Adam Sandler’s Movie BFFs
With actor cronies Kevin James, Chris Rock, and David Spade mugging beside him in Grown Ups 2, Adam Sandler continues the successful phone-a-friend casting strategy he’s employed ever since his theatrical breakout in 1995’s Billy Madison. But who else is on his speed dial, and in what order? To determine which of the Sandman’s many costars is truly his big-screen Bff, Vulture scoured IMDb to see which of his Hollywood pals has racked up the most credits in the twenty movies that Adam Sandler has both headlined and produced through his Happy Madison production company, the five other vehicles he has also co-produced and/or co-written (namely, Billy Madison, Happy Gilmore, The Waterboy, Big Daddy, and Hotel Transylvania), and The Wedding Singer, primarily because it’s The Wedding Singer, and thus pure Sandler-canon fodder. Not counted: Bulletproof, Punch-Drunk Love, Spanglish, Reign Over Me, and Funny People, none of which,

The Voice Recap: Eight Too Proud to Beg

The Voice‘s all-star coaches are, generally speaking, a gentle, encouraging, and decidedly articulate bunch. And if you perused a transcript of their comments from tonight’s telecast, you’d probably think it was business as usual on Season 3 Top 8 performance night.

But tone of voice, facial expression, body language, coded wordplay…sometimes they tell a different story. And with only eight singers left in the competition, the subtext was often as poorly hidden as Christina Aguilera’s décolletage.

There was Xtina herself practically sighing and rolling her eyes while telling the incredible Amanda Brown she’d given “another really dynamic and powerful performance.

'The Voice' S3, Week 8: Inside Look

'The Voice' S3, Week 8: Inside Look
"It's go big or go home." –Blake Shelton

The Knockout Rounds have, by far, been the most exciting portion of The Voice this season. Since this is a new feature of the show, I don't have any experiences from my season to compare. However, I did notice some very uncomfortable situations for the contestants: having to sit onstage as their opponents slaughtered them vocally (I saw a few contestants shoot daggers. If looks could kill…).

And to make matters worse, the contestants that are waiting in the wings for their moment of glory are forced to watch the massacre on a flat screen backstage (I would've been sweating like a fourteen year old boy and simultaneously throwing up my lunch on their very polished floors). I also realized that a few songs are Very popular on The Voice and witnessed certain contestants have some pretty magical moments. I compiled my musings…

Vince Vaughn in Action for 'Triple Time' from Director Peter Billingsley

Yes, Vince Vaughn has seen some action in Mr. and Mrs. Smith with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie, but since then, he's mostly been a man of comedy in films like Wedding Crashers, The Break-Up, The Dilemma and more. Now he's signing up for a straight-up action thriller called Triple Time that has A Christmas Story star turned filmmaker Peter Billingsley lined up to direct. The film would followed Vaughn as a broke U.S. marshal tasked with escorting a prisoner accused of an environmental disaster to Washington, D.C. When their transport plane explodes, the unlikely pair must work together to figure out who is behind the conspiracy, which may include one of them. Frankly, I'm surprised this isn't an action comedy. Read on! It sounds like Safe House, but with a slight twist. Having Vaughn involved would normally make us think this was like Bulletproof with Adam Sandler and Damon Waynans,

The Voice Recap: Mama Said Knock You Out!

The Voice Recap: Mama Said Knock You Out!
Thank goodness for Adam Levine — despite (because of?) the fact that he thinks a tattered/nearly see-through old t-shirt is appropriate attire for live television.

Without the Maroon 5 frontman’s mentoring skills, Night 1 of the The Voice‘s Season 3 “Knockout Rounds” might’ve resulted in a widespread case of Ebola’s close cousin “Memphese.”

And praise be to Xtina’s wigmaster that Adam also thwarted the unacceptable early exit of one of the most exciting reality singing contestants since Kelly Clarkson (let’s here it for Amanda Brown!).

Thanks to havoc wrought by Hurricane Sandy (R.I.P. electricity

Raw Leiba praises Girl With Dragon Tattoo director on new film Dead Man Down, teases image as Marvel's Black Panther villain Erik Killmonger

In May, actor and stuntman Raw Leiba joined the production of crime thriller Dead Man Down alongside Noomi Rapace, Colin Farrell, Dominic Cooper and Terrence Howard.

Leiba, who previously appeared in Conan the Barbarian and Game of Thrones, has given The Geek Files an exclusive update from the set in Philadelphia.

The story is set in New York City and sees a crime lord's right-hand man seduced by one of his boss's victims, a woman seeking retribution.

Leiba is pictured here with Dead Man Down director Niels Arden Oplev, whose previous credits include 2009's original Swedish film adaptation of The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo starring Noomi Rapace and Michael Nyqvist.

The actor said: "Niels is one of the best directors I've worked with and I've worked with some good ones - Neal Burger (The Illusionist, Limitless), Marcus Nispel (Pathfinder, Conan the Barbarian), Joe Chappelle (The Wire, Fringe, CSI: Miami

'That's My Boy' Movie Review (2012)

The last full-fledged Adam Sandler comedy I saw was the awful You Don't Mess With the Zohan in 2008. That was after enduring such trash as Click, I Now Pronounce You Chuck and Larry and The Longest Yard. I successfully avoided Grown Ups and Jack and Jill and now, four years later, I'm giving him another shot... Why I chose That's My Boy as my comeback feature was largely due to its being rated R, which oddly enough is Sandler's first R-rated movie since Funny People and when it comes to comedies, Bulletproof is the only other R-rated comedy he's made (Punch-Drunk Love, to me, is a drama). With that and any other qualifications aside, to my great surprise, I actually had some fun with this flick, though I'm a little embarrassed to admit it.

Make no mistake, That's My Boy is a stupid movie. Really stupid. It easily serves as

Bob Ray’S Amazing Legal Commercial

A few days ago we received an email from Austin filmmaker Bob Ray, best known for shorts such as Hillbilly Doomsday and the documentaries Hell on Wheels and Total Badass.

His message began as follows:

Last week, the criminal defense lawyer who defends Chad Holt in the documentary Total Badass (Adam Reposa, a.k.a. “Bulletproof,” a.k.a. Repo) asked me to help him make a commercial for his law practice here in Austin. As required by law, we submitted it to the State Bar of Texas for approval.

The legal community in Texas is going crazy with it right now and the vid has been bouncing around D.A. and defense attorney’s offices for the last few days hours. Also, not sure of the repercussions (for Adam, Chad, or, most importantly, for me) if the Bar prohibits the commercial from being used or if we’re breaking any laws…

"American Idol" Top 7 Rankings: Hate the Way You Lie?

We're down to seven very important performers on American Blandstand, and I don't hate any of them. They can sing! When we ask them to! With Colton Dixon's flirty repression and Jessica Sanchez's storm-front urgency on last night's show, we have plenty of gems to analyze.

And we'll get to that right after I declare my personal choice for the theme of "post-2010 songs." I'd perform "Rabiosa" by Shakira, since she's the kookiest (and greatest?) pop sensation alive, I'd say. Totally weird too. "She Wolf" is as cuckoo as they come, and addictive too. Plus, my Spanish side is nonexistent, so I hope my performance would be offensive in a Natalie Wood-playing-Maria-in-West Side Story way.

Now: To the rankings, kids! Be sure to offer up your own post-2010 song choices in the comments.

7. Hollie Cavanagh, "F***in' Perfect"

Periwinkle Princess tumbled down the balustrade again, and now I'm pretty sure she's toast.
