Storyline
Plot Summary |
It's the 22nd century. Sam Asgarde, an ex-military pilot, is one of the few who survived a worldwide plague. He had to deliver a "drop" from his plane and has felt guilt ever since. He faces the biggest challenge of his life when he must save the world from a religious cult leader who wishes to eradicate all survivors except for a chosen few. However, Sam knows that there is a wondrous woman, Karuy, who is a mysterious and perhaps extraterrestrial woman, yet who loves him, and might be able to solve his problems -- if only he can save her life. Did You Know?
Trivia | The movie was filmed in Maryland, which is why greenery is in evidence despite the post-apocalyptic setting. The large building into which the murderous deacons chase Sam Asgarde was a disused tobacco curing facility. See more » |
Crazy Credits | After the final credits, a blooper is shown. Sullivan (Asgarde) and Sheridan (Keruy) are lying in bed, and Asgarde is saying, "I've been so ... so foolish." Sheridan says, "You have been," and then starts laughing. After a few seconds, Sullivan realizes it's a blooper/joke, and he bursts into laughter too. See more » |
Quotes |

Sam Asgarde: Bye, Tex. You're the only friend I had. At least I won't have to bury anyone else. See more » |
