school example how to direct a croatian movie
28 August 1999 | by DabacTSPSee all my reviews

A young student comes from Dalmatia to Zagreb to study acting. Unfortunatelly, he can't speak dalmatian, only Zagabrian. There is nothing interesting happening to him, or to city around him, although the war is nigh. So the gas-lighting man is walking towards camera for 40 secs, inspector is looking through the window, but we cannot see where to, nobody challenges local builder for at least hand-wrestling and so on. Only the greatest experts know how to fill the full length of the film!
