Trivia

Jennifer Savidge (Dr. Lois Coutu) & director Eric Laneuville are connected through two medical dramas, 1980s "St. Elsewhere" & 1070s "Emergency!" They worked together in "St. Elsewhere" as nurse Lucy Papandrao & orderly Luther Hawkins, respectively. (Laneuville was directing then, as well.) Laneuville also appeared in an early episode of "Emergency!" as a patient, which starred Robert Fuller, who is now Savidge's husband. See more »

A really well done crime drama
7 April 2004 | by videojohnSee all my reviews

Although our 'justice system' is the best in the world sometimes things just go wrong. This story (based on true events) deals with spousal abuse in years past.

Since "OJ" & that trial, this is much less likely to happen again.

I especially liked the courtroom scenes and the way the camera(s) were used to show it all.

The writers did a 'super' job too.

A great surprise twist as well.
