Unusual, but good
12 November 1998 | by Tito-8See all my reviews

This movie is really worth a look. It isn't particularly gripping, or funny, and really it's hard for me to describe what exactly I liked about this film...yet I liked it anyway. Perhaps it's the originality, for it's not every day that you hear that someone has a kidney stolen, or maybe it is the ethical twist, since the organs are only taken from healthy people and then immediately put to good use. In that sense, the "villain" in this film has an honourable motive, at least, and maybe that is what makes this film work. As you can see, I just can't pinpoint why "The Donor" is a good movie, but it is. See for yourself.
