The distance from the plane to the terminal decreases for one shot.

The ridge with the high-tension power lines changes position in some parts of the movie. Also, in one shot, the power lines are missing, and when the people are helping carry Dinah (in the stretcher) onto the plane, the ridge has disappeared altogether.

After landing in Bangor, the escape slide changes to regular access stairs and back to an escape slide.

Both times when the plane lands (Bangor and LAX) there are brief shots where the lettering on the plane appears as a mirror image.

Bangor Airport is supposedly deserted, yet in one brief shot another plane is visible.

When approaching LAX, Laurel notes that everything looks the same and there's no one there. Except there are cars driving around.

In cruise flight, the camera zooms in on main panel. The indicated airspeed reads zero.

As the aircraft is departing from Bangor, a message appears on the cockpit flight data display which reads "Minimum Takeoff Speed: 150 MPH". In aviation, aircraft speeds are always measured in knots, never in miles per hour.

When taking off from Bangor Airport to escape the Langoliers the aircraft is shown climbing away from the runway. The Attitude Indicator in the cockpit however clearly shows the aircraft to have been in a dive - nose down, as opposed to a climb - nose up.

The aircraft used in the movie has the paint job of a fictional airline. If you look carefully you can see that the studio obtained an old Lockheed L-1011 aircraft that once belonged to TWA. The TWA paint job was modified to that of the fictional airline.
