Storyline

Bernie's a bumbling hit man married to a buxom beauty. When he arrives at a resort in beautiful Miami Beach, he is incensed to find his wife in bed with a local lifeguard. It's not long before hilarious adventures ensue when the world's worst assassin wreaks all kinds of havoc in an attempt to protect his honor. The topless beach resort will never be the same as Bernie seeks redemption among the cabana boys and the bikini clad residents at one of the Sunshine State's tropical hot spots. Written by Anonymous

The Director of Photography is the star of this one
29 January 2001 | by rlcsljoSee all my reviews

This movie seems to be a badly dubbed (in English to English) remake of "Hotel Paradise" about a mob hit man after a employee lifeguard that is boffing his wife. Some fairly decent bodies show up topless and there is a "revenge of the Nerds" schlock plot thrown in.

But this movie seems more to be a travel brochure for Miami, Florida and they must have spent some bucks on the Director of Photography, because almost every shot is perfectly composed and lit. I have never seen Miami look so good. There are also some Koyaanisquatsii (Sorry, I cant spell it) type time lapse sequences that seem to be thrown in for no particular reason.

No way this is even a good attempt at a bad beach movie.
