MoviePass Reveals Annual Subscription For $6.95/Month, But Is It A Deal?
MoviePass seemed like the deal of the century: $10 a month to see one movie a day at the theaters? No contest. But in the three months since the start-up company seeking to disrupt the theater market with a Netflix-like service launched its new business model, MoviePass has been plagued by technical hiccups, backed-up deliveries, and […]

Dani Mathers Tearfully Apologizes After Body Shaming Incident: 'I Just Wasn't Thinking'

Dani Mathers Tearfully Apologizes After Body Shaming Incident: 'I Just Wasn't Thinking'
Dani Mathers is still dealing with the consequences of body shaming a 70-year-old woman at an L.A. Fitness last July.

In her first interview since the incident sparked outrage -- as well as an Lapd investigation -- the 30-year-old Playboy model emotionally details how her life has changed since the incident, fighting back tears.

"To hide out at my mother's house at age 30, because of something I've done, it just felt really low," Mathers says in a taped segment for ABC News, which aired on Good Morning America on Wednesday.

News: Dani Mathers Pleads No Contest for Posting Locker Room Pic of Naked Woman

Last July, Mathers posted a photo to Snapchat of a naked woman in the locker room of an L.A. Fitness without her knowledge, with a caption that read, "If I can't unsee this, then you can't either." The model says she has tried to reach out to the woman, though her attempts

‘Doctor Who: The Twelfth Doctor #2.15′ Review

Written by Robbie Morrison | Art by Rachel Stott | Published by Titan Comics

Robbie Morrison continued his winning streak with last issue, the first of this new arc. Although for a second it looked as though Morrison would be treating us to the adventures of the Time Surgeon and companion Kara, fighting the dastardly Minister and the Deathroids, it turned out to be a comic book within a comic book. The comic book was a loose adaptation of The Doctor’s adventures, based on urban myth and whispers, and written and drawn by creators Val and Sonny. The real Doctor was not overly impressed by their efforts, and decided to take them on a quick tour of the universe with him, so they write a more realistic book, relatively speaking of course.

This being The Doctor, things don’t go particularly as planned. After a few misadventures they end up in

Beauty vs Beast: Make News Not War

Jason from Mnpp here - I didn't take my lead on this week's edition of "Beauty vs Beast" from Nathaniel's "On This Day" post earlier but it's not a surprise that we'd both want to mark the 67th birthday of William Hurt with an acknowledgment of Broadcast News, because I think any sane person will snatch the chance to talk about Broadcast News when it's offered. I did actually contemplate a couple other of Hurt's performances for a minute - maybe Body Heat or The Accidental Tourist? But he's made a career of making the women across from him shine and I knew Kathleen Turner & Geena Davis would dominate those conversations...

... as would Holly Hunter, which is also why we're keeping her out of this even though it's Holly's birthday today too. Sorry, Holly! You'd win way too hard.

But does Hurt stand a chance against Albert Brooks' sweaty sidekick Aaron?

Supernatural Round Table: An Episode to Remember?

Was this a Supernatural episode to remember?

Dean may have lost his mind on Supernatural Season 12 Episode 11, but there was plenty to take in. From the comedic to the dramatic, this was an episode that really captured that memory loss for the character.

But what about those witches? Were they fantastic villains?

Join TV Fanatic staff writers Sean McKenna and Christine Laskodi and The Winchester Family Business’ Alice and Nightsky as they talk about “Regarding Dean.”

So turn on your light sticks and join in the latest Supernatural Round Table!

What was your favorite scene or quote?

Alice: No contest. I’m going with the ending montage with Dean on the mechanical bull and his other fun antics in the episode to the tune of Bobby Goldsboro’s “Broomstick Cowboy.”

The whole scene was out in left field, didn’t really fit with the episode, but I loved it anyway.

Match 1 – Nia Jax vs. Alicia Fox (Pre-Show match)

Alicia Fox fired away at Nia Jax as the match opened, but the powerhouse soon flattened her.

Jax stalked her opponent, kicking her in the back, flinging her across the ring. Fox managed a bit of offense that stunned Jax. Strength overcame courage in the end, though.

Jax beat down Fox, finishing her off after a very short match

Thoughts: The match partially showed off Jax’s power and ferocity, but

What Was The Best Film Of Summer 2016? — IndieWire Critics Survey

What Was The Best Film Of Summer 2016? — IndieWire Critics Survey
Every week, the CriticWire Survey asks a select handful of film and TV critics two questions and publishes the results on Monday morning. (The answer to the second, “What is the best film in theaters right now?” can be found at the end of this post.)

This week’s question: What was the best film of summer 2016?

Charles Bramesco (@intothecrevasse), Rolling Stone

Gosh, where to start! It’s been a banner summer if, like me, you enjoy submerging yourself in vast unending ocean of incomprehensible bullshit at the movies. There was “Suicide Squad,” which is to plot structure what the Elephant Man is to facial bone structure. Loved me some “X-Men: Apocalypse,” an epic battle between an uncomfortable-looking ensemble of interesting-to-talented actors and a script intent on turning them all into cardboard cutouts. “The Shallows” was fun in the way that completing the maze on the back of a cereal box is fun,

‘Sons of Anarchy’ Star Tommy Flanagan Plays With His Snake in Korn’s ‘Rotting in Vain’ (Video)
Tommy Flanagan is done with “Sons of Anarchy” — but he’s clearly not through with delivering unsettling performances. Flanagan, who played Flip “Chibs” Telford on the FX biker drama, stars in “Rotting in Vain,” the new video by creep-metal veterans Korn. In the clip, Flanagan plays an elegantly debauched gent who huffs a mysterious gas that apparently makes dreadlocked guys show up in his apartment and make lots of noise. Indeed, regardless of whether one of your favorites was sent to the guillotine during Season 10’s very last single elimination, you’ve got to admit that next week’s bloodbath — which will see five four artists eliminated, and three four advancing to the finale — will be much more brutal.

Making this week’s cut a little easier was the fact that iTunes sales and overall votes lined up perfectly,

Alistair Overeem Wants To Face Brock Lesnar In WWE?

WWE.com

When Alistair Overeem made his Ufc debut in 2011, he did it against the biggest opponent possible: former heavyweight champion Brock Lesnar. It was supposed to be a title eliminator, and Overeem won after a vicious blast to Lesnar’s midsection. Lesnar crumpled, not far removed from surgery for diverticulitis.

Overeem was on a huge high – briefly, before failing a drug test weeks removed from the fight. Though still within the window allotted time for testing as part of Overeem’s conditional license for the fight, the win for Overeem was not changed to a No Contest, though it could have been, and Lesnar did not contest the decision.

Since then, however, Mma fans have derided Overeem, most notably when he suffered crushing losses to Antonio “Bigfoot” Silva, Travis Browne, and Ben Rothwell. And Lesnar never seemed to leave his mind, despite Overeem’s win over the WWE star.

5 Predictions For Ufc Fight Night: Bisping Vs. Silva

Ufc

Ufc Fight Night: Bisping vs. Silva takes place Saturday night, live from London’s O2 Arena. At long last, England’s Michael Bisping gets his wish: to fight the legendary Anderson Silva.

The only problem with this scenario is that it’s Anderson Silva, 2016 edition, otherwise known as post Ped-test failure, year-long suspension Silva, not Anderson Silva, ‘Greatest of All Time’, Ufc Middleweight champion. Sadly, for Bisping, that fight will never happen, because when Silva was in his prime, Bisping seemed incapable of winning the big fights, or putting together enough wins in a row to justify a title shot.

Now? Well, Bisping owns back-to-back wins for the first time since 2011, which is enough to see him in a headlining fight against Silva, who hasn’t fought since beating Nick Diaz early last year, then seeing the win turned to a No Contest after testing positive for multiple banned substances.

Here's another way to rank the Oscar acting nominees

Here's another way to rank the Oscar acting nominees
Which actors will take home the gold at this year's Oscars? While it's a nice thought that the winners in each category will ascend the steps of the Dolby Theatre based on merit alone, we all know that's not how it works in this silly town. Judging the quality of a specific performance relative to other performances is a highly subjective thing, and certainly subject to pre-existing biases. With that in mind, is it any less ridiculous to predict the winners in each category based on age, height, net worth and relationship status? I say it's not! Let's have some fun. Below, my rankings and predicted winners in each category based on totally irrelevant personal stats. (Note: All "net worth" numbers are based on 100% accurate Google search results.) Best Actress 5. Saoirse Ronan, Brooklyn Height: 5'6" Age: 21 Net worth: $2.5 million Relationship status: Single? 4. Brie Larson, Room Height: 5'7" Age: 26 Net worth

‘The Voice’ Coaches Sing Karaoke with Jimmy Fallon (Video)
Jimmy Fallon turned the tables on “The Voice” coaches on Monday night and had them sing karaoke in front of his “Tonight Show” audience. Gwen Stefani, Pharrell Williams, Blake Shelton and Adam Levine sang popular tunes while playing “Spin the Microphone,” which Shelton noted was “actually the stupidest game” he’s ever played. But it resulted in the country star performing “Ymca,” and Levine performing Britney Spears‘ “Oops, I Did It Again,” so it wasn’t stupid for fans enjoying the spectacle. Michael Davis: Forever Ago & Yesterday

My boy Marvin Haynes and I just knew we were going to get caught, go to jail if lucky, get shot if not.

Nassau County in Long Island New York once (maybe still) had the highest paid police force in the country. Some of the homes in the Five Towns area of the county were so grand as a young child I thought they were department stores. That highly paid police force made sure nary a worry would the residents of Inwood, Lawrence, Cedarhurst, Woodmere, and Hewlett have.

There was very little crime in Nassau County and no black people. The only place you would see people of color in Five Towns were the shopping malls or the cotton fields. Cotton fields? Can’t say I ever saw them, but I was born free.

Give that a second…

This was a community African Americans were not welcome in and the

4 Ups And 4 Downs From Last Night’s WWE SmackDown (Sept 10)

WWE.com

This week’s SmackDown was another average show that continued the build up to WWE Night of Champions next Sunday. As usual, several of the biggest names in the company were missing, but at least the WWE Champion Seth Rollins was there.

WWE once again teased the idea that Sheamus is going to cash in the Money in the Bank briefcase at Night of Champions. The show progressed the current storylines in some ways, but then they took some step backs by booking some odd finishes or completely ignoring the idea of booking a finish.

Here are the match results from this week’s show:

Cesaro defeated The Miz by submission using the Sharpshooter.

Paige and Sasha Banks had a match that ended in a No Contest when they wouldn’t stop brawling.

Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose & Jimmy Uso wrestled The New Day in a match with no

Vivieno Caldinelli's 11-minute short Portal to Hell!!! is heading to the Toronto International Film Festival. And while it is a horror short, it's getting a lot of attention for bringing a very interesting career to a close for Roddy Piper. The wrestling Superstar passed away last July, but he left this one gift behind, making it one of the most in demand shorts at Tiff this year.

Portal to Hell!!! follows the apartment-superintendent hero in what is loving referred to as a 'primo slice of Canuxploitation'. He has enough on his plate,
