Based on and continuing the Famous Oz Stories by L. Frank Baum, "The Magic Book of Oz" tells of the wicked witch Scratch who lives in the land of Ump. Scratch hates happiness more than anything, and plots to destroy all the happiness in the happiest land of all . . . Oz! When Dorothy, Betsy, and Trot arrive at Glinda's palace, they ask to see the Great Book of Records, a book which briefly records every event that occurs in the world as it happens. There they learn of Scratch's evil plan. They travel to the Emerald City armed with water balloons, unaware that they are falling into Scratch's trap!
