Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Sex & Nudity

  • A romantic relationship develops between Christy and Dr. McNeill to the chagrin of Miss Alice, McNeill's mother-in-law. Some viewers may find this questionable, since McNeill is discovered to be still married to another woman (whom he believed to be dead). Divorce from his wife is later implied since McNeill marries Christy in the end.
  • Christy marries a nonbeliever, which some may find objectionable given the series' Christian overtones (contradiction of 2 Corinthians 6:14).
