    • Trivia
Before any part of the episodes were written, the guests were interviewed by a crew member, sometimes wearing the Space Ghost costume made famous by Andy Merrill in some Cartoon Planet (1995) intros. The interviewer also instructed the guest to address him as "Space Ghost" to maintain continuity. After an interview was done, the writing crew went back over it, taking pieces out of context and out of order, assembling them into the responses to Space Ghost and the rest of the cast. Most of the show's earlier guests assumed they were participating in a relatively straightforward interview. As the series became more popular, however, more and more guests became at least peripherally familiar with what was going on.
    • Quotes

Zorak: My favorite episode of The Golden Girls is the one where they all took contaminated Geritol and died.

Space Ghost: That was never an episode!

Zorak: Well, it should have been.

    • Crazy credits
The name of Tom Roche always appears upside down.
    • Alternate versions
In the TV-aired version of the episode "$20.01", Space Ghost asks Mystery Science Theater 3000 creator & former host Joel Hodgson to help him make fun of scenes from the 1960s Japanese television superhero series "Ultra Seven" in the style of MST3K. Possibly because of rights issues, the Ultra Seven clips are replaced on the Volume 2 DVD version with a mock amateur horror film produced by Williams Street. However, the original audio is kept intact.

    Cartoon Network's best original series.
Currently, Cartoon Network is adding all of these "Cartoon Cartoon," and "Adult Swim," shows, but they will never match the standards of this gem. Space Ghost is a total idiot, it's actually Moltar and Zorak who're the brains(but Tanzet and Brak are even stupider, and you'll know this about Brak if you've seen him in any other show he's been in). This series is funny as heck, what with Space Ghost frying Zorak, or even the guests, alien intruders popping out of nowhere, and a bunch of weird stuff going on. The show's plots make little to no sense, but that's what's best about it. You never know what's going to happen next, because the writers make it very unpredictable. Definitely a real classic.

BOTTOM LINE: Of all cartoons not on DVD yet, this one is screaming out to be given the digital treatment, so fans can see this hilarious talk show spoof where it deserves.
