Trivia

The characters' full names are: Rachel Karen Green (Jennifer Aniston ), Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow ) (in Friends: The One Where They All Turn Thirty (2001), she says she never knew her middle name because she had never seen her birth certificate and her twin sister, Ursula, sold it to a Swedish runaway), Joseph Francis Tribbiani, Jr. (Matt LeBlanc ), Chandler Muriel Bing (Matthew Perry ), Ross Eustace Geller (David Schwimmer ) (this was only mentioned in a magazine article by one of the creators back in the 90's), and Monica E. Goofs

Even the show's designer has commented on the fact that the Central Perk sign on the window can be read correctly from both inside and outside the coffee shop. But viewers have noticed that the logo is symmetrical and suggest that it isn't unfeasible for the owners to have placed a sign on the inside of the window which completely covers the one on the outside, making it readable from both sides. Crazy Credits

At the end of the 2nd part of the episode "The One With Two Parts" the epilogue is totally syncronized in Spanish, a reference to Marcel turning the TV's language into Spanish at the first part of the episode. See more »

Alternate Versions

In the season 8 episode "The One With The Halloween Party", Rachel gives out candy to the first trick or treaters that come to the door. On the NBC original broadcasts, she comments on a girl's cowgirl costume and about Ralph Lauren's new clothes line and the young girl says "Just give me the candy!". In the syndicated version, she just gives her the candy. See more »

Still as funny as it was when it started back in '94
18 January 2003 | by SilverzeroSee all my reviews

People are saying that friends is running out of ideas and that the humour is getting dull. Running out of ideas? possibly. Humour getting feeble? absolutely not. In fact it's getting better. OK, so perhaps they're beginning to "pair up" the six of them, but so what. Chandler's sarcasm is still as funny as ever. Monica's quirkiness still works. Phoebe's goofiness still brings about a smile. And Joey,Rachel and Ross are still as funny as they always were. So stop being a bunch of cynics and enjoy the show while it's still on.
