After an asteroid has collided with their spaceship, the five astronauts aboard suddenly have to decide who's to live and who's to die, since the crash has left their oxygen supply almost depleted. Did You Know?
As the blurb says, it is based on the Arthur C. Clarke short story "Breaking Strain". But that has only two (male) crew and is much more psychological. See more
It is absurd that no one would send a rescue mission. Particularly since the only report of everyone dead comes from a man with a dubious history.
It would have been wiser to have used the original Clarke plot, in which no one can get there in time. See more
