“I still remember the e-mail asking me if I wanted to write the first Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover,” said series writer James Tynion IV. “My brain couldn’t even process what I was reading for a few seconds, and I started having a panic attack about fitting it into my work schedule. Then, finally, I pictured Michelangelo’s reaction to seeing the T. Rex in the Batcave for the first time and started laughing out loud.”

Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III Coming This May

Gavin Jasper Feb 15, 2019

Batman and the Tmnt have taken on Shredder, Ra's Al Ghul, a mutated Joker, and Bane. Now it's time to save the multiverse from Krang!

News recently broke that in a few months, we’ll be getting a Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movie because sometimes the universe truly loves us. The Dark Knight and the Heroes in a Half-Shell have crossed paths a handful of times in the last couple years of comics, starting with early 2016’s Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles by James Tynion IV and Freddie E. Williams II. It’s since gotten a sequel and a reimagining.

Now it’s time for part three...or four, technically. On May 1, we’ll be getting Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III, again by Tynion and Williams. Oh, and Tmnt co-creator Kevin Eastman will not only be returning to do some covers like the previous miniseries,

‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ Trilogy Filmmakers File Lawsuit Against Warner Bros.
The “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” films are cult classics from the ’90s, but the producers, writers and a director behind the “heroes in a half shell” movies are now demanding payment from Warner Bros. Producers Kim Dawson and Gary Propper, director Steve Barron, writers Bobby Herbeck and Todd Langen and an heir to producer Graham Cottle filed a lawsuit Thursday in the Los Angeles Superior Court against the distributor of “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles” (1990), “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze” (1991) and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III” (1993). The filing states that the six plaintiffs were “entitled to

30 years since Gremlins: Stars of the Christmas cult classic then and now
Christmas just wouldn't be Christmas without a heavily tinseled tree, a tipple before midday and Gremlins on the telly at some point during the day.

The Joe Dante-directed black cult comedy sees protagonist Billy Peltzer being gifted with Gizmo, a cute furry Mogwai discovered by his inventor father in a mysterious Chinatown antique store.

Of course the creature comes with three special instructions which, if not adhered to, result in the spawning of grizzly Gremlins hell-bent on havoc.

The Steven Spielberg-produced movie - which is

currently being fast-tracked by Warner Bros for a remake - celebrated its 30th anniversary earlier this year, and here's what the main cast members got up to after the movie's success:

1. Zach Galligan

Zach Galligan plays William 'Billy' Peltzer who becomes enthralled by his unusual Christmas gift - yet careless with the three golden Gizmo rules.

Movie Review – Turtle Power: The Definitive History of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (2014)

Turtle Power: The Definitive History of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, 2014.

Directed by Randall Lobb.

Synopsis:

The history of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles joins Ghostbusters and A Nightmare on Elm Street in the stable of “franchises celebrating 30 years of existence” and Randall Lobb’s rather wordy Turtle Power: The Definitive History of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, is more or less what it says on the tin. It’s a celebration of this franchise that has transcended generations just as icons like The Muppets and Star Wars have. But while it appears as though Turtle Power wants to be along the lines of Never Sleep Again: The Elm Street Legacy or Crystal Lake Memories: The Complete History of Friday the 13th, it often just feels like an extended DVD extra, especially when its hampered by such a short runtime. In short, it’s not

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Original April O'Neil Reveals Why She Wasn't In The Sequel

While actress Judith Hoag was the first actress to bring intrepid reporter April O'Neil to life, starring in 1990's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles from director Steve Barron, her tenure as the character was rather short-lived. Not only was she replaced by Paige Turco in both Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles II: The Secret of the Ooze and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III, but the brand has since moved even far beyond those movies with the animated Tmnt (featuring Sarah Michelle Geller as the voice of April), and, most recently, Jonathan Liebesman's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles starring Megan Fox. While Hollywood has certainly moved on, Hoag remains one of the franchise's biggest mysteries. Why did she not come back as April O'Neil in the live-action Turtles movies of the 90s? To hear the story from the actress' side, it was because producers weren't too happy about her regular notes. With the

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles – Rt (19%) – Trailer

It’s been over 20 years since the Tmnt had a live action movie; I know a lot of us like to pretend Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III didn’t happen, but it did. This isn’t the darker/grittier/bloody reboot people were hoping to get after years of rumors that one was being made. Instead it’s a CGI-fest from Platinum Dunes and the director of Wrath of the Titans and Battle Los Angeles. In our lifetime, I’m sure we

Awfully Good: Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III

At least the Michael Bay Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles has to be better than this. Right? Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III (1993) Director: Stuart Gillard Stars: Paige Turco, Elias Koteas, Corey Feldman Leonardo, Donatello, Raphael and Michelangelo go back in time to save feudal Japan from evil white people. 4 Versions of the Ninja Turtles That Already ‘Ruined’ the Beloved Franchise

  • Cinelinx
Fans are a fickle bunch and while our passion for certain properties is part of what makes the experience great, sometimes we come off as jerks. Between reboots and sequels we’ve seen the nasty side of fandom come out lately, and recently the ire has been stoked by Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Since the first trailer for the new film released, many fans have angrily claimed the film is going to “ruin the Ninja Turtles”...Fellow fans, it’s time to face the facts. Over the two and a half decades of Ninja Turtles being in existence, there have been a few things to come out which have already ruined them.

I love being a fanboy and participating in various discussions about my favorite things with other fans. I don’t have much patience when the conversation starts off (or devolves into) “such and such ruined my childhood” or some similar nonsense.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: The Movie Collection Blu-ray review

Review Matt Edwards 29 Oct 2013 - 06:19

This new Blu-ray set gathers together the three live-action Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles movies in one collection. Matt takes a look...

I was invited along to Legoland as part of their bank holiday Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles weekend back in August by Nickelodeon (the show is expected to return to Nick in November). Initially confused by the ridiculous number of short people (many of whom were dressed as Ninja Turtles) surrounding me, I soon became aware that the place was being overrun by a swarm of sherbert-huffing hyperactive children.

Obviously, I was livid. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is for my generation. I tried to explain to them that they were ruining my childhood, but they were so busy enjoying theirs that they hardly paid me any notice, no matter how furiously I screamed. The Legoland staff was similarly disinterested in my distress, but they were practically children themselves.

Film Face-off: 'Iron Man 3' vs. 'The Dark Knight Rises' - Which Is the Better Part 3?

With Iron Man 3 now in theaters it's a chance for us to look back at all of the superhero part threes that have come before it. Here's the list: Superman III, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles III, Batman Forever, Blade: Trinity, X-Men: The Last Stand, Spider-Man 3 and The Dark Knight Rises. Sure there are some straight-to-dvd sequels, but I don't think we need to bring up the likes of Darkman III: Die Darkman Die here. Now this is a list of all of the really good superhero part threes: The Dark Knight Rises. That's it, that's the list... until now. Yes, as the late, great Yoda always foretold, there is another. With the help of director Shane Black, Robert Downey Jr. and even Gwyneth Paltrow, Iron Man 3 is worth seeing, now let's see how it stacks up against The...

Over the past few weeks, the writing team here at Flickering Myth have been putting together their own individual top tens, which we've used to compile our list. Any film based upon a comic book was eligible for inclusion, providing it had received a theatrical release either in North America or here in the UK. So, if you're a huge fan of David Hasselhoff and you're outraged as to

Ninja Turtles Casts Leonardo, Donatello and Michelangelo Roles

Ninja Turtles Casts Leonardo, Donatello and Michelangelo Roles
Leonardo, Donatello, and Michelangelo have finally been cast in Ninja Turtles, producer Michael Bay's reboot of the franchise, and its not Corey Feldman, the Workaholics, or any of the other original cast members. Director Jonathan Liebesman (Battle: Los Angeles; Wrath of the Titans) has instead decided to go with a cast of relative unknowns.

Pete Ploszek, who only has two credits to his name with bit parts on Showtime's Shameless and NBC's Parks and Recreation, has been hired to play Leonardo, the blue masked katana expert of the group. He is the oldest turtle, and considered the leader.

Jeremy Howard has signed on as Donatello, the scientist and smartest of the turtles, a role originated by Corey Feldman. Don wears a purple mask and is a master of the bo staff. He is the least violent of the turtles and likes to use his brain rather than his fists in a conflict.
