Trivia

Belldandy and her sisters are based on the Norns, who were the goddesses of fate in Norse mythology. Belldandy (Verthandi) was the goddess of the present. Urd (Urthr, Urdr) controlled the past, and Skuld represented the future. They lived at the base of Yggdrasil, the World Tree. In the original "Aa! Megamisama!" manga, the computer system used by the goddesses is also named Yggdrasil. See more »

A must watch for anime fans!
13 July 2001 | by See all my reviews

This is a wonderful story with very interesting characters topped off by some awesome animation. The english dub even has some well done voice acting to boot.

If you consider yourself a fan of anime this is required watching.
