I would rather talk about the filming of this film. It was shot it the town I lived in, when I was 6-7 years old, and the crew was being hosted in a community where I lived with my parents. it was a pretty weird summer. My mom, who was working, remember coming home (year 1991)after work and seeing a couple of 2WW-soldiers sitting in costume, having their smoking break, with blood on their cloths and just chatting about today stuff.... very unreal.
It's an adaptation from a very good book, which is worth reading. the film is okay, no award winning material, but still worth checking out. The acting had some problems and it reminded me too much of "the boys from Sankt Petri", also a danish film that takes place during the occupation.
